This challenging module provides you with an active learning environment where you will engage with the latest concepts and issues in the international political economy of oil and gas. The module explores the changing external environment; the opportunities and threats facing the sector ranging from the role of the national and international oil companies, states and markets, geopolitics and digital technology. The module also provides an opportunity to evaluate past and present industry challenges to understand key emerging trends to provide the business with industry-focused recommendations and solutions. You will work together on authentic issues, investigate and critically review the latest research.
